“It’s been two years now, since my husband began attending the Family Circle Elder Care (FCEC). Apprehensive at first, that my husband might feel resentful, that his dignity might not be honored, and struggling with personal guilt (for feeling overwhelmed/not being able to manage it all!)…I resisted the much needed help that “the center” offers. Indeed, “leaving” him there (each day) was initially very difficult. But, within the sincere and caring environment provided by the staff at FCEC, my fears were quickly alleviated as my husband adjusted to his new-found community of peers.

As the weeks and months passed, I realized that he was happier (as was I) than he (and I) had been in a long time! He began to not only smile more, but also became increasingly more outgoing. As his emotional, mental, physical and social needs were being met in this loving place, his naturally engaging personality began to return. That is, his depression and dementia became more manageable…his diabetes was controlled…and his fifty-year old smoking habit was finally relinquished!!

Because of the impeccable professional care my husband receives at the center, our lives are now richer…more fulfilling. For this and so much more, we (and our adult daughters) will forever be grateful. We pray that the center will continue to grow…that the staff and the clients will continue to be blessed (in all ways, at all times)."
